Phenonip is a naturally derived preservative that is always used in our products that contain water ingredients or may come in contact with water. Water breeds life so without an effective broad spectrum preservative, products can grow yeast, mold, and bacteria which is not safe for your skin and body! This ingredient is only used at 1% so it does not cause any effects to your skin.
